    i've always been very conservative in my clothing and in my nail polish choices. i mostly wore french manicures or really light pinks. but since going natural i've been more bold it started with a red nail polish from LA colors to purple, blue, yellow, green etc.... i went from owning three nail polish to now owning about 20. even though my wardrobe hasnt changed that much that pop of color puts a smile on my face whenever i catch a glimpse of my nails while at work. to make a long story short i'm now always on a hunt for that next pop of color to add to my collection.

    Happy New Year and may God bless, strengthen and prosper you in all the you undertake and lay your hand upon in this new year. As a 53yr old woman, who for the first time in her life is coming to love her natural hair (10mos), iam passionate about the care and love of it! i never knew that just plain bad care and the wrong products were making what God gave me a hot mess and make me think there was something wrong and "bad" about my hair. the first time i put the right things on my hair and saw it curl naturally and say 'AHHHH!", i cried. I am passionate about being fit because you so often see older people who didnt maintain there physical health in their youth or younger days all bent over and weak and i have every intention of being 80, strong and standing at my full height of 6"2"!(tall aint i?) I am passionate about drawing closer to the Lord and doing my best to be the woman He created me to be! God has a divine purpose for all of us - i want to make sure iam walking in mine! take care and all the best in all you do! the end of that marathon has a place with your name on it

    With my 34th birthday approaching, I'm realizing the need for fitness. I've always been slender in build and able to eat whatever I liked, however after birthing 5 beautiful healthy children, and still being slender, I've noticed flab. I want to be overall healthy and fit so that I can enjoy playing with my children as well as loving the skin I'm in.

    Heyy!!! Love your YouTube Channel (I follow it under the name BOU9QUE! Since being diagnosed with Type II Diabetes I have become VERY passionate about my health. I recently started running which is something that I NEVER felt my body could even do!! But little by little I am improving. Ive lost weight and plan to lose 40 more by June. Wish me luck.... I enjoy it because its a way to emotionally connect with people that transcends language. When someone cries when I sing - that's when I know they connected with me and the emotion I expressed in the song.

    I am incredibly passionate in Dancing, I have done ballet, tap, jazz and hip hop since I was seven (I'm not 17) and recently started African dancing. I am so passionate about dance because its a way of expression, art and discipline all wrapped in fun.

    I am passionate about growing my own food. After watching a movie called Food Inc., it made me think twice about what I was eating and where it came from. This was just my first year and I am happy to say that I didn't kill the plants, which I normally do. I got a little food off of it but I think I started to late in the year for growing what I wanted to grow but this year I'm ready.

    Since I am going to school for Veterinary Medicine, I guess you could say that my passion is for helping animals.. and just animals in general!! Ever since I was a little girl, I have always had some type of pet in my home. Whether is was a dog, guinea pig, rabbit, and even a lizard! Haha. But animals are always there for you, and they will always be your best friend no matter what. =)

    Errr, but, umm....my hobby is a bit nerdy *looks around* lol.


    I really enjoy reading manga (Japanese comics) during my spare time. I guess it is a way for me to relax and let my imagination run free a bit, lol. I have been into this stuff since I was a little kid and over the years it has drawn me into wanting to learn more about the Japanese culture (Very interesting stuff, haha). I get so geeked out about learning something new about it, just as much as natural hair lol. =D
